Savage Worlds and Deadlands creator Shane Hensley is also self-professed as a Neo-Nazis

So Shane Hensley, owner of Pinnacle Entertainment Group and creator of the games Savage Worlds and Deadlands also came out publicly to side with the fascist agitator Charlie Kirk, making himself a self-proclaimed neo-nazi.

I feel bad for anyone who plays Savage Worlds or owns any Savage Worlds books. But buying anything from Pinnacle Entertainment Group means you are supporting nazis, and recommending or talking positive about its games means you are supporting fascism.

I assume we will have more such revelations in the coming days and weeks.

  1. Oh well I guess I’ll stop following this page if you think that Kirk was a neo-nazi facist (which, by the way, are two different things). Seems willful ignorance is popular in my hobby from certain people.

    1. Exactly — just because you call somebody a name doesn’t mean it’s true. It’s just name calling to dismiss their ideas, rather than actually grapple with the ideas and disprove them, if you think they’re wrong. Since when does a “neo-nazi fascist” support Israel? Makes absolutely no sense.

    2. This is, perhaps, a Johnny come lately post, but I feel it’s important to draw some distinctions. The difference between a “fascist” and a “neo-nazi” is more a matter of specificity than categorical difference. Even then, a neo-nazi, white nationalist, white identitarian, etc etc all share beliefs that heavily overlap and so I will not judge someone too harshly for mixing them up. In the months/years running up to Charlie Kirk’s killing, he was on record as stating a great number of white nationalist talking points, associating with white nationalist figures and on a few occasions directly identifying as a white nationalist. To deny this association would, to me, speak of a much stronger willful ignorance than the original post.

In response to the other posts here:
      1. “Since when does a “neo-nazi fascist” support Israel?”
There is a contingent of white nationalists and neo-nazis that fully support Isreal, given that the Israeli state follows many of the same practices towards Palestinians that they wish to implement on non-whites in the Unites States. This is not at all a fully shared belief among american fascists, but it does exist and given Kirk’s history it would make sense.
      2. “One day you people will realize how much you’re helping neo-nazis and fascists to get back in politics by running the meaning of those words to the ground”
While I agree that the left could learn to be less annoying, fascists are the kings of running the meaning of words into the ground. Woke/DEI/Critical Race Theory/Cancel Culture are all terms that have real definitions that have been hammered out of existence by right wingers and fascists. If running words into the ground was the bar for what is acceptable in politics, then fascism would be a dead ideology.

I think the actual issue everyone here has is false attribution, which I agree is not great. I think a lot of people right now are nervous and easy to jump to conclusions. While I recommend calm, I also think people have a right to be nervous about the direction of this nation. We’ve seen clearly in many ways that the current administration is happy to wield the levers of power to enforce compliance with their personal politics. This is happening in a way that shares similarities with some of the worst moments of our national history.

    3. Great advertising for Savage world’s I’ll check the game out. bad advertising for self appointed communist pedophiles like Yora

  2. … So he never professed to be a “neo-nazi”, he just liked Kirk, who to be honest was pretty damn gross but he also never quite shot anyone.

One day you people will realize how much you’re helping neo-nazis and fascists to get back in politics by running the meaning of those words to the ground, to the point that they don’t mean anything anymore. Really, the far right would be in such a massive trouble if it didn’t have useful idiots like you ready to muddle open racism and authoritarianism with regular regressive conservative and right-wing populist screed.
